Our Loss Control Department is an
in-house unit that assists K&K and the insurance carriers K&K represents in evaluating risks for insurability. This is accomplished through compliance with applicable guidelines and standards and through the observance of other relevant underwriting factors, that may minimize the frequency and severity of claims.

K&K was originally founded by Nord and Teddi Krauskopf to provide insurance products for motorsports participants. Nord's involvement as a team owner and sponsor gave him an insider perspective on the coverage needs of the motorsports industry. His dedication to motorsports eventually resulted in winning the Grand National Championship in 1970; the team was led by legendary driver Bobby Isaac and Crew Chief Harry Hyde.
